Born in Moscow, Rozanska is the daughter of a former Polish diplomat. She was schooled in both the former Soviet Union and her native Poland. Graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland with a Masters Degree in Graphic Arts, she began her career in Poland mainly as an illustrator. Her illustrative art has been published in numerous volumes of fiction and poetry as well as books for children. Her images for children are at once charming and whimsical, yet haunting and ethereal. Rozanska has won several awards for her children's art in Europe, where her work has been exhibited extensively.

Rozanska arrived in New York in December 1981 as a tourist on holiday. When a political snafu stalled plans to return home she decided to stay in America. She immediately landed a series of projects in graphic design and after a formidable success in the medium, she decided to expand her design acumen into the realm of fashion in 1998. She then crystallized her unique design objective towards creating products clearly rooted in comfortable, timeless shapes and tactile fabrics that envelop, not encase, the body.

Rozanska has expanded her collection to include a sublime array of textiles for home, including hearty blankets and throws of silk and wool; as well as luxurious pillows in leather, suede, and velvet, linen etc. Rozanska is also experimenting with paint and hand finish, bringing true art into her product design.
